hey there! sorry if you've already answered this a million times, but my whole life i've HATED running. but i really want to get into it and feel that feeling and dedication so many committed runners feel. i have my first 5k at the end of next month (the color run! soo excited!) and i know there's the couch to 5k program, but i was just wondering what keeps you dedicated and loving running? thank you sweetheart! i love your blog. :)

oh my gosh, first of all i have to say that i’m incredibly jealous that you’re doing the color run. They don’t come near where i live until september! and alright, here we go, i’m making you a list. the first thing that keeps me running is the runners high i get. i swear, its the most amazing natural high you’ll ever feel. running makes me feel so accomplished and confident in myself. like, i feel more powerful knowing that i can run ten miles. the second thing is that i’m competitive, with myself & with others. i know i can be a better runner and that thought pushes me through the tough spots. the third is that my running friends are amazing. we tell each other everything on our runs, i swear its like therapy. they’re such cool people. so try to find a friend or two, or get in contact with a running group or club in your area. running with other people will make it so much more enjoyable for you! the last reason is that it keeps me in amazing shape. i love the way my muscle look & i also love getting to eat a ton of food because i burn so many calories running :)) hahah, anyway, let me know how things go for you!
